30 Nov Think Globally, Act Locally: Get Tested Coachella Valley Goes National

To end the HIV epidemic, we have to think locally and act globally. That’s why Get Tested Coachella Valley is going nationwide next month for World AIDS Day – and we want YOU to share the experience with us!

On World AIDS Day, Dec. 1, Get Tested Coachella Valley will be in Washington D.C. and New York City, as well as offering free HIV testing throughout the Coachella Valley.

Desert AIDS Project CEO David Brinkman and Get Tested Coachella Valley Project Director Susan Unger will head to the White House on Tuesday to take part in World AIDS Day activities.

Also on World AIDS Day, our Digital Media Manager Sue Lowe will be in New York City to attend “A Night of Music: Celebrating 10 Years of ONE and (RED)” at Carnegie Hall.
