Get Tested’s Comic Con Palm Springs Youth Outreach VIP Pass Giveaway

In the weeks leading up to Comic Con Palm Springs, team GTCV brought our mobile testing clinic to movie theaters, comic book stores, and restaurants throughout the Coachella Valley to offer a free 3-day VIP Comic Con Palm Springs pass to anyone between the ages of 16-24 that joined us at one of our Orange Party events and committed to taking a free and confidential HIV test.

Thousands flock to first-ever Comic Con Palm Springs

According to the CDC, about 60% of all youth with HIV do not know they are infected, are not getting treated, and can unknowingly pass the virus on to others. Thanks to the support of Comic Con Palm Springs and our community, we were able to reach record numbers of young people living in the Coachella Valley!

BIG thank you to Comic Asylum, Coachella Valley Arts Scene, Mary Pickford Theater, Indio Teen Center, Interstellar Comic Books & Collectables, and Red Robin La Quinta, for hosting Orange Parties! And to Video Game Connection for sponsoring the GTCV Gamers Lounge!
