Annual Update

26 Jan Join Us for Our Second GTCV Annual Update!

Can you believe it’s already Year 3 of our campaign to end HIV in the Coachella Valley? Believe it – and better yet, learn all about what you helped accomplish in the first two years at our second GTCV Annual Update!

2015 was an exciting year – thanks to YOUR help to create a healthier Coachella Valley! Here’s a sneak peek at what you helped accomplish in 2015:

  • The number of community HIV test sites increased by 244%
  • The number of participating medical providers quadrupled
  • Our Coalition of Community Partners nearly doubled

You are helping end the HIV epidemic. In 2015, we saw more community support, more widespread and routine HIV testing, and less stigma around sexual health than ever before. Get Tested Coachella Valley even went to the White House – twice!

For the full scoop, don’t miss the GTCV Annual Update on February 11. This is your chance to come together with other community supporters and discover how you can help make our final campaign year the best year yet (and you’ll also be one of the first to get your hands on our 2015 Annual Report!)

We have an exciting line-up of speakers who want to share their passion for Get Tested Coachella Valley, including Dr. William Grimm of Desert Healthcare District; Dr. Cameron Kaiser, Riverside County Health Officer; and Dr. Karen Mark, Chief of the California Department of Public Health Office of AIDS.

We’re moving at full force to the end of our three-year effort, and it’s your support that will make Get Tested Coachella Valley a historic effort by the end of 2016. Won’t you join us to learn how you can make HIV history?
